I have to disagree with you totally on this one mate. Morey has done things for the fans, players and random people behind the scenes that doesn't get media attention.

The only way that Brooks was going to get a decent contract after this season was to get playing time. Denver was the perfect opportunity for that.

He has gone from getting a vet minimum contract to maybe getting a $4-5mil deal if he can play well.

I wouldn't be so suprised, he averaged around 6 when he started for us, so he's a pretty decent passer.

True, not really a good shooting night but I expect him to do well in that role. Its built for speedy young PGs.

I'm starting to have emotions relative to a players movement and not so much his ball playing ability?
-I love Aaron brooks in our city
    -his ability is decent

Almost feel bad for the kids constant back and forth movement

Not crazy about losing AB. And Canaan is not even the best player on the Vipers. How much better is Hamilton over Covington? And if Rockets need wing scoring, then why not Troy Daniels? Daniels is automatic from the perimeter.

    3-12 shooting. 8 assists, 5 turnovers and a -30 for the game.

Wasn't too good of a shooting game for him, +/- numbers aren't a great metric when you're playing on a very bad team. My prediction is that he will get into his groove soon enough.

Can you guess why Morey was interested in Hamilton?

Dat corner three. He sucks from the top of the key but Morey probably couldn't care less.

And of course on top of that he's athletic and a capable defender. Had a huge block shot tonight.

I'm liking what I'm seeing in Jordan Hamilton. Great defensive rebounding and defensive rotation with him in there at the 3. Also, unlike Casspi, it would appear Hamilton doesn't just jack a shot up because he has the ball in his hands.

Could be a somewhat underrated and strong move by Morey from the limited minutes tonight thus far.

Really like what I'm seeing, but keep in mind that most NBA players (with solid physical tools) can play solid defense with the proper effort. Right now, I'm chalking this one up to him trying to make a positive first impression.

Hope he keeps it up though, we can really use it.

For an 8th or 9th man? He looks like he could be pretty nice.
