Breaking News from Knicks Front Office: Raymond Felton arrested for pointing a gun at his wife but didn't fire because Knicks policy is that only Melo can shoot.
Didn't she technically commit (repeatedly) a felony by knowingly residing in a home with an unregistered gun?
Its almost impossible to get a handgun license in NYC, and from the sound of it, he's not one of the few celebrities, public officials, or city workers that have one. He's going to spend quality time in prison just from the weapons charge, not to mention whatever happens regarding his wife...
So this turned from making fun of Felton... ...to complaining about women Definitely saw that coming.
I dunno maybe he shouldn't have broken the law by having this gun in the first place. I don't know what dumber, him leaving incriminating evidence at his soon to be ex wife's place or the entire no snitching rule/culture.
Who would take him? He's an awful player getting paid to much for what he brings. A team looking for a PG could find much better and/or cheaper options. Not to mention, few teams even need a point guard.
After I saw guys like Joe Johnson, Rashard Lewis and other overpaid guys get traded, I'll never say never again.
The difference is that Rashard was still a decent player and was traded for another bad contract (Gilbert Arenas) and Joe Johnson - while overpaid- is still a very good player and was probably one of the best players on his team. Felton on the other hand is just garbage. Not at all servicable. If he gets traded it will be a trash swap.
The guy was busted for using PEDs and wasn't decent at all. Gil wasnt the same and got caught up with "gun charges" Those trades had nothing to do with talent swaps
