Just replace the bulls with the spurs and that would be the top 4 teams in the nba.

I want us to go 10-0. But my gut feeling tells me that we'd go 5-5 or 4-6...

    Lets be honest here:

@Lakers SHOULD be a easy victory.

That team is toast. Orlando and Detroit are far better teams.

I don't know if the Rockets are elite or pretty good. These games will let us know.

Thanks for posting this. The remaining games are such that the Rockets could really run up the table and win them all. Now that I see this schedule, I think we should be OK going 6-4 during the tough stretch of games.

A win over clippers will make sure for the 3rd seed (or the 2nd seed),which means so much to this team. Avoid thunders and clippers and all the way to the WCF.

As much as I wish we could do better than 5-5, there really is no way to predict anything, considering we're beating the Spurs and losing from Sacramento.

On the road though. It's a big game no doubt, but I think the other two are more telling. If the Pacers come in and win on our floor, I wouldn't be too surprised. They are a defensive nightmare anchored by Hibbert. It will be tough one for this young team to win.

But OKC and LAC - those are two teams we have had a chance to play multiple times and should by now have a very sound strategy on how to play them. So while Indiana is an experienced team we haven't figured out yet, I think it would be more worrisome to lose to OKC and LAC by significant margins and win against Indiana then to Lose badly to Indiana and be very competitive with OKC and LAC (even if we lose). THe latter scenario is more suggestive that it is merely experience that is holding us back.

So I think we will go 4-6 these next 10 games.

We ain't losing all our tough games in this stretch. We'll win a couple I bet.

9-1 Miami will get us back on the last one in triple OT.

But the Rockets can also lose to teams they should beat.

Never said they couldn't. Just saying that I don't think they're going to drop all they games where they're not favored, though.

    The Rockets are 38-18

    Tough games remaining are:

    TIER 1 (8)
    LAC x 2
    MIA x 2
    OKC x 2
    POR x 1
    SA x 1

    PROBABLE: 3-5

    TIER 2 (5)
    CHI x 1
    BYK x 1
    TOR x 1
    DEN x 2

    PROBABLE: 4-1

    TIER 3 (13)
    SAC
    DET
    ORL
    UTH x 2
    MIN x 2
    CLV
    CHA
    PHI
    LAL
    NO x 2

    PROBABLE: 10-3

Looks like 54-57 wins is the most likely outcome.

If the Rockets sweep the Tier 2 & 3 teams and just beat SA and POR and lose to MIA x 2, OKC x 2, LAC x 2 and INDY...... they finish with a 57 wins.

The Rockets have a very outside shot at 60 wins by getting hot, splitting against TIER 1 teams and sweeping all the lesser teams.... this is possible but would be very unlikely.

Most likey to finish about the LAC the Rockets need to split at worst the last two games against the LAC.
