Gerald McRaney has been in some great shows the last decade or so; I don't even equate him to that show any more. Although I loved it as a kid. House of Cards, Southland, Justified, Jericho and Deadwood to name a few. All top notch.
I just finished the first 2 seasons. I guess I have a different take than the majority of y'all. Spoiler I think the acting is great and I like the storyline, but I can't get iver how stupid some of these characters are. Especially the ones with real power that know the game. They can't possibly be this dumb. Zoe - Is she really dumb enough to delete everything and get killed like that? Who do you know would secretely follow someone they think was involved in a murder near some subway tracks? Zoe's biach - I forget the reporters name, but since he was so pu**y whipped by her I think this title fits. What experienced reporter is really dumb enough to go out like he did? Rachel - You are used to prostituting and being on your own, so am I to believe you wouldn't just dissapear? Tusk - As calculated as he is, he is just gonna dime on himself and throw the President under the bus, but not Frank? The President - Really....because the dude wrote a letter? You cut him off and will put yourself back at risk because of a sappy letter? Come on man. I liked the show but even high school kids know not to make those silly mistakes. I'm punting on season 3.

Just got around to finally watching the last 3 episodes of season 2. Well done! Spoiler The end result was way too predictable, but the execution and acting more than made up for it.
Spoiler Agree about the President. Even if he relied on FU for his connect to Congress, I doubt he'd have zero relationship with the Speaker and Senate Minority leader. Impeachment...even if Tusk bought out the Speaker, there's no way a party would dismiss the leader of their party without rock solid evidence of an impeachable offense. His support eroded a lot faster than Tusk's testimony. Any politician would've sold out FU with his letter at the first opportunity. The "value of the Congress" card wasn't that strong since Walker already outed Frank as the mastermind to chaos at home and abroad. Whipping up votes should've been the president's realistic fear rather than a strength he'd need since Frank benefits the most out of an impeachment. Also agree about the side stories. Clare throwing a hissy fit and torpedoing Frank's watershed bill really made no point since she gave her non-profit away once he became Veep. Just nitpicking about the writing and believability... Great and entertaining watch
Enjoy. I think if this show was on something like HBO, it would be almost as big as Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. Its that good....
Season 1 Chapter 10 I am intrigued. It is like a modern Game of Thrones. . .without so many different point of views Rocket River
Since this was bumped, has anyone seen the show Boss with Kelsey Grammer? Story about a Chicago Mayor having a life threatening illness and doing steps only Frank would love. Unfortunately it was one Starzz and canned after 2 seasons.
just finished the show Season three should be interesting I wonder how long they can keep going Rocket River
just finished the show today. i know i'm late for the party. Spoiler I was surprised also at Walker accepting the letter like it's nothing, but one poster said how Frank didn't check the letter inside. Walker may hold onto that and use it later. Also, I was pretty upset they killed off Doug. Really liked his character a lot. Rachel must be sought after!!
