Yes, I'd have LeBron over Oscar and I'd have Shaq over Russell. It doesn't mean I'd have Oscar over Shaq. You are reading it in a weird way, besides, read the discussion, we were discussing two different "Mounts Rushmore", one for bigs and another for perimeter guys. Shaq is a big guy obviously and Oscar is a perimeter guy.
To be fair, that team also looks pretty poorly spaced because of DR.J/Unseld at forward spots. To me that would be a bigger issue than a backup. But yeah, Dolph is a small-ish big man who's not built like a tank like Unseld, who's not super athletic like Faried, and no jump shot (he had a set shot, which is cool for a Brook Lopez or Zydrunas Ilgauskas, but a smaller player would probably have a tough time using it regularly today). Hard to imagine him translating well. Obviously, if he was born in the 1980s, maybe he would develop a jumpshot and add a lot of mass. But if we are judging players based on what they were, not based on what they maybe possibly could've been, some of them don't translate so well.

Yeah. Torque had a nice thing going on, Steph Curry-Kobe-Pippen-???-Alonzo is a nice core. I would've picked Sheed, Kemp or Love for his PF spot, but there are still very nice options available. This could still be a competitive team. I have an idea who I'd pick for his PF now. We should suggest options and decide. But lets wait for Jamers to make his pick first.
