The next 10 games will tell us who we really are as a team

I true contender would go 6-4 at the absolute worst. A top contender would be disappointed with anything less than 7-3 and be very happy with 8-2 or better.

I think we can win 8 games.

 

By the way, the last 17 games of the season after this 10 game stretch are not bad at all. If we go 7-3 or better we're looking at a top 3 seed most likely.

 

i'd be happy if they can beat miami and thunder once each.

 

I'm surprised how optimistic everyone is...Anything over 5 wins is incredible to me

 

I think we go 6 and 4.

However, I do think I see something brewing. Having Asik back is going to help the bench and the team in general seems like it is starting to gel.

Howard is getting better as the season goes. Parsons is playing at a higher level than that of last year. Harden is at worst equal. I really believe we are getting ready to make a deep push in the playoffs.

 

I think Dwight beasts against Miami.

 

This next 10 games are like a mid-term exam for the Rockets on their way to WC finals this year and championship next year.

I am happy for their progress so far. It will be even better if we have better coaches though.

 

Whatever happens, we still are the rockets team who has a heart of a champion.

 

8-2 is what I expect from a contender, and nothing less.

Clippers will beat the living crap out of us when we bring in our weak azz second unit in... smh

We will lose to OKC, clippers and in Miami.

 

I'm thinking 4-6 is the realistic expectation.

 

The clippers game and OKC are the two big measuring sticks. We've looked awful against them in our previous losses - so how we play in those games is a sign of how much progress we have made.

I'd watch both of those games closely.

 

13-0 or blow up the team

 

Yes, would love to get even one of these two games, but just to be competitive would be a huge improvement.

 

To win 8 ouf 10 in the next 10 games, the bench needs to get its act together. They can do this by at least playing suffocating defense, with Asik anchoring the middle of the defense.

The bench needs to be prepared for the multiple screens that teams set up to free up their shooters. Just play tight defense and the rest (offense) should improve in time for the playoffs.

 

No matter what happens... I'm gonna sit back relax and have fun watching the game and the GARM.

 

I said 7-3, with our 3 losses coming at the tail end of the stretch.

Hate predicting a losing streak of any sort, but 3 on the road against sound teams? Good chance for a streak.
