Why wont you ask about Bortles' wonderlic score??? Is Teddy the only qb in the draft? You naming receivers that Moon threw to proves nothing at all.
umm, no offense, but BO'B isn't going to accept "doodling" -- he's going to need somebody who can comprehend the offense. I heard a rumor than Louisville ran a very simplified pro-style offense this might be the elephant in the room, but as you can see on here, you shouldn't dare talk about it because apparently it's not politically correct...
No one is complaining because it's not PC, we're complaining because nobody in their right mind is, has, or will question Teddy's intelligence. That is what sets him apart from the rest of the qbs. It's why he's had as much success as he has. Did you question manziel's intelligence, despite him running a spread offense which is really easy to learn? Teddy has the brain to succeed. Stop being a dumbass and questioning something we all already know the answer to. Bobby isn't very high on Teddy and even he knows that his brain isn't a question. If anything THIS guy is the one who should be questioned <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Rlvl7rRq6P0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Actually quite the contrary. When you consider the fact of the top 20 wonderlic scores in the history of the NFL, only 2 of those QB's has actually won a playoff game.... Spoiler And that of the 20 worst Wonderlic scores in NFL history there are 4 Playoff winners.... Spoiler Then you look at some of the good QB's who've scored below 20 (Dan Marino (15), Terry Bradshaw (16), and Jim Kelly (15), Randall Cunningham (15), & Donovan McNabb (14)) it assures me that the wonderlic doesn't mean nearly as much as Tex says it does. You can go back to trolling Teddy B, I just thought I would discredit your latest "honest question"....
endoftheworld just posted a link that said Bridgewater was overwhelmed by the offense and the coach told him to "doodle"
You haven't answered the question why the Wonderlic fills this criteria for you. You said it was important to know the score, so I'm just asking how his score will prove this to you.
sorry but BO'B isn't going to draft a QB who he has to ask to "doodle" to learn the offense remember, BO'B will run a complex offense
Great site on wonderlic scores for those who are interested....(as if there's actually more than one person)....lol http://cfbmatrix.com/wonderlic-shmunderlic/
You realize he was an 18 yr old kid that should've still been in high school at the time right? It also said once he grasped it he knew everything from memory before the OC even got a chance to look down at the play. And after his freshman season he was given the keys to the offense and was free to make any adjustments he wanted at the line. Which part of that makes you question his intelligence?
I see no great correlation between the score and how/if they'll succeed. Let's make an assumption : what if he scores a 15-20? What do you think of him? What if he scores 30-40?
The Wonderlic is crucial for Teddy Bridgewater because measuring aptitude is important for decision making when dealing with a complex offense and time pressure. It's also a way to figure out how well he will learn the system (although all must invest time in studying). It's a measure of raw mental horsepower and you really can't study for an aptitude test. But why is the test specifically important for Bridgewater? Easy -- because he has been surrounded by low-IQ people for most of his life. Many would conclude from that set of circumstances that he would not have a high IQ. He grew up in poverty and attended a very low income, low test-scoring high school in Miami. This isn't unique to him -- this is commonplace for most inner city students. Your intelligence is a product of your environment. When you are not surrounded by excellence, you don't learn from good examples. Most of the people that have surrounded Bridgewater during his formative years lack higher education, have bad grammar skills, and have not accumulated wealth. Contrast that to Drew Brees' upbringing or the Mannings'. It's a big disadvantage for Bridgewater culturally and educationally. If Bridgewater does well on the test, then hats off to him for overcoming so many obstacles. I'm rooting for him, he seems like a great person.
I dunno who will be the best QB, but if you are questioning intelligence or decision making I would point the finger at manziel. Played most unconventional style, IMO over played "character issues", are more questionable than teddy. I get the feeling bortels is getting a huge jump because he is a prototypical sized qb
