I watched every single game and down he played this last season. He was not terrible but he was not special either. He has spectacular physical talents and his performance last season did not meet what his own personal expectations should be. You can ramble on about the sack number being artificially low, but the pressure he applied was good but not what it should have been. When you are talking about a top draft pick, looking at actual production is a worth while endeavor.

Fair enough, I'd then ask to you look at what I wrote again. Here, I'll re-post the relevant section

Which is exactly why your opinion is meaningless, because you clearly don't know your head from your ass.

I guess Clowney can't catch or he'd be playing TE -- 4.47 -- that is unbelievably elite speed for a 265-70 pound guy.

Fair enough, I'm fine with you thinking that. However if you read here

    http://www.battleredblog.com/2013/12/18/5222864/2014-nfl-draft-making-the-case-for-jadaveon-clowney

Most people think Brett Kollmann knows what he's talking about and I guarantee he can break down film better than you could ever hope to. He thinks the "motivation" issues are WAY overblown just like I do. I suggest you start reading film breakdowns more often so you can learn a bit and your opinion will be a little more intelligent next time around.

Also, when you are done there, here is another article you should check out.

Dual threat -- seriously the guy is like Lebron James without the motor -- Lebron is a V12 800 HP -- Clowney is Turbo V6 with 800 HP -- the V12 can just go longer before it blows out.

Exact NBA comparison i was thinking off...He is built a lot like James with more weight...

    James 6'8 250 Vertical 40+
    Clowney 6'5 265 Vertical 37.5

Interesting read. Thanks for sharing. Wasn't until i read the article that i realized Clowney might be injury prone. The motivation issues are overblown, but they still exist. There were plays in that article that he could've made but didn't. Idk if it's because of fatigue or lack of technique/iq but he is still fairly raw.

That just goes to show how ridiculous LeBron is. Idk how you'd be able to stop him and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he was hit a 4.4 40.

You have to draft him #1 on his ability. If he doesn't have the motor that everyone is talking about, then you have a team meeting with pillow cases and bars of soap. N/K

Well the way he cut weight, he may be playing as an OLB which would be slightly less, but still more than TE's.

I'd be shocked if any of them were available, but then again ESPN/NFLN had the world thinking that Rodgers, Brady Quinn and Geno Smith would be gone by pick #5.

LeBron and Clowney are about the same size? Clowney a bit heavier, LeBron a bit taller? Same speed?
