2014 Smart Phones

Oh, I know it has a great camera - all of the high end Lumias do. I'm hoping for a 1080p 5" Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia. Basically, the Lumia Icon with a few more bells and whistles.

 

Here's hoping its the base model. That thing is so fugly.

 

When does the Z2 come to T-Mobile?


I will switch for that thing, easily. Take my money, please.

I had the white version. This thing is too damn vivid for my taste.

 

I was going to get the Moto X but I knew the phone I got this go-round would have to last a full 12 months, and I can't see the hardware on the Moto X making it that long without some significant lag setting in around months 8-10. I wish I had got it when it first came out. Fantastic features.

 

Please tell me that back of the S5 is an early April fools joke. WTF.

I have the S3 and wanted to upgrade to an S5, but I just cant do it if the back looks like that. I'll just wait for another phone.

 

I blame Apple. Samsung doesn't have anything copy from Apple because the iphone design also has stagnated.

Not sure why Samsung didn't just start ripping off window phones.

No it was the metal antenna that had to be covered up with a bumper because touching it dropped your call.

The ribbing on that Samsung ring looks tacky as hell though.

 

Don't like the body design on the S5. Looks awful. But most people will probably put it in a case.

 

exactly, i don't know why people are freaking out about how the back of the phone looks

 

I dont ever put cases on my phone...so looks matter to some degree.

 

Reminds me of the Nexus 7's back (2013 version). I'm assuming the Nexus 7 would have looked the same if it weren't just in black.

I am hanging onto my rooted S3 a while longer after seeing the S5. Not much added and the looks are pretty, well, fugly.
