that is so overrated. there is no proof that the thunder would be better with rondo over westbrook other than armchair point guards opinions.

durant had 30 shots while westbrook only had 13 and they still lost.

ya'll just like to deflect blame on westbrook because kd is the golden boy that can do no wrong.

forget that kd got punked by lebron or that kd let matt barnes of all people score 24 points while bricking in the 4th quarter.

I think this is a good representation. Westbrook is like Vegeta. He screws everybody over by causing Gohan to hurt his arm even when he is trying to help.

Chris Paul had lost his last 2 games until this game. Small sample size.

Depends. I'm a fan of how he was playing in December. Over his entire career, no.

It's just so dumb to say he's the problem with the Thunder based on 2 games. The main problem with OKC is they have a coach worthy of high school.

I believe that the way Westbrook plays the PG position HURTS the Thunder. I don't really care about the 2 games, I'm talking every single game. Are they better without him at all? Probalby not, but would they be even better if he just played PG and deferred to KD and the others? Yes, I think so. I'd like to see Westbrook's assists go up.

Either way, LeBron owns Durant so it's a moot point if we are talking about going all the way unless the Pacers some how beat Miami which is a possibility. Not likely but possible.

His hurting him for now because of the adjustment of team dynamics and chemistry but they will be better and a lot stronger come playoffs. They are going to be tough team and favourite by far to take out the WCF

Westbrook has had 2 seasons in a row until this year of averaging 8 assist and people still complained.

If people want him to become Rajon Rondo or Jason Kidd they can forget it because it's not happening and it shouldn't happen

I feel like Westbrook should be coming off the bench, at least until he is back to form.

I want him to be more like Chris Paul or Rondo. Someone who can score when needed but has over 10 APG.

    Man...

Can you imagine if OKC had an elite talent off the bench to compliment Westbrook and Durant? One that could really provide playmaking and instant offense while the other 2 stars were resting? I imagine team chemistry would improve heavily as well. Can you imagine?

what really hurts the thunder the most is that they don't have a good true big man.

perkins is a bum and ibaka is underwhelming. that's the biggest problem.

If you ask Westbrook to be Paul or Rondo you're in for complete disaster because he is nothing like them and will never be like them.

Just like if you ask them to be like Westbrook they couldn't

Yeah but Ibaka offense has come a long way and is good enough when you have two all-stars ahead of him.

The problem is the first guy you mentioned. Kendrick Perkins

i think ibaka should be a way better rebounder than he is and defensively he's overrated other than blocking. people made a big deal about harden in the 2012 finals but ibaka was terrible in the finals as well. i agree about his offense coming a long way but i still don't like the fact that he remains being nothing more than a jumpshooter and doesn't put more pressure on teams in the paint. it just feels like his points are empty a lot of the times.

Well, if they release him, I say pick him up.

Trade him for Rondo? ??? Kind of like us trading Howard for Ben Wallace, I guess.

Westbrook took 13 shots & Durant took 30... He has to work himself back into rhythm some way before playoffs, did people want Durant to get 35-40 shots ?
