Well in a way the more shots Westbrick takes away from Durant, the more pissed Durant gets and hopefully some day soon he demands a trade to the ROCKETS to play with Howard and Harden
Does anyone else here realize OKC started the season slow with WB coming off the injury and then went 18-2 before he left again? At the time, WB was playing the best ball of his career. In coach Bonehead's basic playground offense, the Thunder MUST have another dynamic scorer to be a legit threat in the playoffs. KD + Ibaka won't be enough and their offense will be too easy to stop when games are on the line. When WB gets his timing back and assuming he fully recovers phyiscally, OKC will be the strong favorite for the Finals out of the West. Right now, I'd put the Clippers as 2nd most likely.
Well we're not talking about now, but like two seasons down the line and should OKC have problems winning in the playoffs. Then any trade involving WB will have to consider if he wants to play there in the first place. Even when people mention Durant's FA we all know it is at least two more seasons away from even being a possibility...and it requires a lack of success from OKC for either of those guys to consider it.
They have been working hard on his instabilities. He pretty much does nothing but intense leg work here in Miam.. there was a special on it awhile back. Pat Riley knows what he's doing. He rebuilt Oden from the ground up.
Some people will never (or don't want to) understand that KD's January was an unsustainable magic carpet ride. The dropoff in February is why WB must return to take up the slack.
For all the talk about this being Indiana year and Miami falling off Indiana is only 1 game ahead of them. That's with Wade missing a lot of games.
