Agreed, I don't think its like that at all

Granted stuff like that may exist but the NFL is about wins, doesn't matter who you are

I think teams are going to grill him about it in the interviews. He told them yesterday that he was going to run, then pulled out last minute. He has a lot of explaining to do. I do agree that it completely calls into question his weight gain because you can't very well say gaining 10 pounds is a good thing and then not compete.

He already met with the Texans. They probably gave him a good reason to sit back and relax.

Okay BRO but I said maybe and I don't claim to know. What I do know is it still exist in the world/ Actually I don't even want to talk about this. You're right I shouldn't have brought it up. I just want the Texans to get the best quarterback for this team. And I don't see anyone else worth the first overall pick. That's my concern nothing more.

You brought it out, and I don't mean to come off racist, but there is no need for the over dramatic. Over half the team is black. Race isn't a factor. It's the damn NFL in 2014! WAKE UP! Russel Wilson just won a super bowl. I have agreed with everything you have posted in this thread. I agree that Teddy is the clear cut number one in my eyes, but stop with the racist crap. Its not needed and is a non-factor. You are thinking way too much in to this.

    1. I get that you don't know, but you also don't know that maybe the reason he didn't throw was because he was high on meth and he tweaked his groin raping and murdering people last night but that doesn't mean you throw that out there as a possibility. In all likelihood, he didn't want a bad result due to gaining weight, so he decided not to compete.

    2. There is a pretty obvious player worth the first overall pick, you just want it to be a QB instead.

Gained all that weight a few days prior and tried to rinse it out to up his speed. Felt weak and didn't want to run. That is what my gut is telling me.

It was an odd choice, because Teddy isn't known for his speed as much as his pocket presence. Weird choice that will just add more unneeded questions.

Well if it was all bad weight and he ran a 4.8 or worse, his stock would take a huge hit. No matter what the case, he better have a good pro day or he's going to fall a long way.

I don't get why TB didn't run. Do you? Please tell me if you do.

Same reason he didn't throw most likely, he was worried he'd do poorly in a neutral environment so he skipped out. He added about 10 pounds recently and was probably worried his 40 time would suffer.

I doubt it. Teddy is a pocket QB.

He would still be faster than Bortles and still better than the other QB prospects in almost every category. If you add up the plusses for each QB on a list, Teddy wins by a wide margin.

I think it had something to do with the weight being put on before the draft. All questions are erased if he runs a 4.6 or a 4.7 at his pro day. I think it was a bad move to wait, but we will see.

Well it's not a matter of that, if he had a really poor performance at his "new weight" then people would question if his actual playing weight is really much less. It would bounce back on the "frame" red flag. All i know is that he better be about the same weight or more at his pro day and he better do a good job.

He has a small frame, and that is obvious. It isn't going to get any bigger. He just looks like a naturally skinny person. If this kid was built like Jameis or Luck, we wouldn't be having this convo right now. This kid is just as good a QB as Andrew Luck is, but not as good a football player in my opinion. Teddy was probably meant to play WR, but damn the kid is smart with the ball in his hands. He is number one worthy if you can get over that frame.

Just saying. I mean who cares if he runs now or pro day. Why would he's stock drop. Teams just need to be patient. He will run at his pro day. He said he's a perfectionist and he probably decided late that he was not running ( I may add that the texans also met with him last night) wouldn't you think that conversation came up last night )
