He said the reason he picked Louisville was so that he could start right away, and that was the most important thing to him. The Pac 12 and Big 12 aren't weak football conferences....at least not compared to the old Big East and the new AAC and Stafford played in the SEC....
Do u really think thats y. You the texans have met with him already. Last pic if Obrien looked like he was bored
You realize he decommitted from Miami right???? Because Randy Shannon was fired, that happens all the time. Thats why poor little UCF pounded big bad Baylor, the Big 12 is so strong hahahaha What does Stafford in the SEC mean?????? He played against college competition am I right????
Luck and RG3 were going 1 and 2 so it wasn't an issue of them throwing. No one else was in competition for those spots. And I think Bradford was injured. O'Brien likes the mental make up of a quarterback and in a draft were the #1 pick is up for grabs these quarterbacks should be doing everything they should to impress if they want the Texans to fall in love enough with one of them to pull the trigger. Especially with Clowney in this draft.
He recommitted from Miami because he said that playing time was his number one concern, Randy Shannon was going to make him a day one starter, Al Golden wasn't guaranteeing it so he went to a school that would guarantee that he was their day one starter. He didn't want to have to compete for the starting job anywhere he went. If you honestly think that the AAC is as strong a football conference as the Big 12 then let's just stop here. You said: Bradford went to the Big 12, Stafford to the SEC, that's not the same as going to a Big East school for football.
I agree with you on the second spot Bortles has risen in my book for his attitude towards throwing I am willing to gander that the weight gain for Bridgewater has thrown off timing on his throws.
Thats why he smashed Al's team in the bowl season right??????? UCF bashed Baylor, explain that?????? Your over rating the competition disparity by a large margin
SMH, when Boise St. beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl in 2006, does that mean the WAC was a stronger conference than the Big 12? Oklahoma State also beat Bama that year, so I guess the Big 12 was stronger than the SEC too.
Let's keep this fun going, that year the SEC beat Ohio state in the national championship, so that means the WAC was the strongest conference in 2006. I like how this works.
In terms up the top tiers, oh of course. The SEC is more balanced, but in terms of top teams from other conferences, they are every bit as good as the "SEC" teams
Ugh, c'mon man, you don't even believe that. It's like saying the Eastern conference in the NBA is "every bit as good" as the West just because the Heat are good.
No idea. I don't pretend to understand how the speeches at The Combine work. The media care more about frat boy Manziel and Michael Sam than anyone else. Shrug.

Do people really feel comfortable talking up someone that Pancakes McClain actively fawns over? Just something to think about, he doesn't have the best record.
