The risk would be looking bad in a neutral environment, instead they chose to only show off what they could do in a more controlled, friendly environment. Since one didn't throw, the other didn't throw. If either had chosen to throw, the other would have followed suit. I'm guessing you are joking about Tennehill, Weeden, Osweiler, Wilson, Foles, and Cousins....at least I hope you are. Those guys might look awesome compared to the top of this draft class, but they had nothing on Luck and RG3.

Hope Teddy throws, but It's really a situation where there isn't much to gain, but much to lose. It's understandable if he doesn't throw until his pro-day considering the history of top rated QB prospects.

    Teddy will throw.

He probably does not want to declare it until he comes out of the agility drills clean.

Bridgewater is methodical, he is weighing the pros and cons

I wont be surprised if he is waiting till the interviews to get feedback

i would assume he will announce today.. I would assume if he wasnt throwing he would have already made that decision.. Im would think hes leaning to throwing..

I hope you're right, I want to see him throw. His arm isn't that bad to where he should worry about a bad performance THAT much, especially since Bortles is throwing. Other than inconsistent accuracy on the deep ball, and sort of a sidearm motion he should actually look pretty good which is why I would take it as a hit against him if he skipped.

He actually fixed it to more overhead, should help with deep ball accuracy

I also want to see how the weight gain and refined lower body technique helps his strength

You misunderstood, I mean it could have helped those QBs draft stock, not that they would have rivaled the top 2 QBs for the top 2 picks.

Yeah they are awesome now, because we know what they can and can't do in the NFL. This time last year no one though Wilson and Foles would be top QBs while Weeden and Tannehill would be closer to busts or semi-busts at this point considering their draft positions.

The risk also involves not having anyone to throw to or just not being comfortable throwing to guys that you have no chemistry with. It makes it easier when you've practiced with someone and know where they would be on the field especially on timing throws.

It's all business decision, again, nothing to do with confidence. If that was the case, they wouldn't throw at all.

Can someone else confirm that Bortles himself just stated in the combine that he knows he needs alot of work and help from coaches to be a starting QB in the NFL.. I was reading this through some tweets..

Looks like Bridgewater hit all of the marks he needed to at the combine. Should be the sure fire #1 QB off the board now. Taller, larger, and bigger hands than most expected.

    6-2 1/8, 214 pounds, 9 1/4 hands.

With respect to hand size, its more about the proportions of finger to palm if that makes any sense, that has a huge impact on grip strength.

Garoppolo, and Fales were 8 1/4 also. Bortles was 1/8 of an inch larger, while Aaron Murray and Carr are 1/8 of an inch smaller. Bridgewater doesn't have amazing hands, but they aren't notably small.

Yes he said something along those lines and also said he would have no problem if he had to sit on the bench his first year... I don't see anything wrong with it because I think all rookie QBs need help from their coaches but that's just me.

Dude he can be the 1st pick and he shows no confidence. Why would you draft him no 1 if he will sit on the bench
