With Hamilton, Daniels, and eventually Covington and Canaan, that'll be a ton of good 3 point shooters off the bench.

Now I know the Harden injury wasn't serious, but calling up Canaan and signing a SG from the Vipers would seem like logical moves if Harden went down for a few games.

Hopefully he can contribute, at least one of he and Hamilton should be able to beat out Casspi/Garcia.

The Rockets: bent on being the youngest team in the NBA agaiin. :)

On a serious note, a good move. Really don't know how Morey keeps on finding these young talents.

Troy Daniels (along with Covington and Canaan) chosen as an NBADL all star this year.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering that too, I mean, he can't really do anything besides shooting 3's, but someone had to need another 3 point shooter off the bench.

So a second round pick is so valuable that it's better to go into your playoff run with another rookie instead of a veteran shooter? And if you are adding this guy, does it mean there is no interest in Terry or one of the other vets who got voted off their island?

This is the SG version of Ryan Anderson. Morey has done a great job in the last few days of addressing depth at SG/SF

He had something like 10 suitors but was probably waiting for us to have this roster spot. He knows the system already and will fit right in. RGV is an incredible thing.

Now that we have Canaan, Covington, and Daniels all on the roster, it's time for Morey to initiate Project RGV. I expect a massive increase in 3pt attempts and it's going to be great now that we have shooters (add Hamilton to that) that actually shoot decently from three.

Brewer is nice, but he can't hit jack, so this is a huge upgrade
