    Canada penalty. Time to capitalize.

edit: Jeesh...didn't get a single good look. I guess the defense on both teams is phenomenal.

USA has been on defensive more than offensive so far, CAN controlling the puck much more from what I've seen thus far.

Canada dominated the USA. Scoreline doesn't show it though.

what a disrespectful b****. She walks out while Yuna Kim is speaking, during the joint press conference of the medalists. It's customary when finished, the usher asks reporters if there are any more questions and the medalists leave together. And no she didn't come back. Gold medal for being a Grade A b****.

People are desperate to call foul play and pick a fight. Every seasoned and acclaimed figure skater, including Tara Lipinski and Weir, said the Russian deserved to win based on her technical prowess and difficulty of her program. She also put more emotion and an element of realism in her performance. Yuna skated a cleaner program with a lower level of difficulty and was more stoic.

Watching it live, I have to agree. It does seem fishy, but all three girls really deserved to win with their performances. Plus who determines the judges on the panel? That has to come from the IOC or the ISU I would imagine. It's not like Putin handpicked the judges to be on that panel for the free skate.

The top three were all within a point of each other I think, so it was any one of them's to win. Maybe the Russian girl benefited from a little home cooking with the crowd behind her, but she still skated a program worthy of gold.
