Why are you responding to every single post that has something negative to do with Lin. You won't change their mind and you're just feeding the fire. Even if you don't agree with what they say you don't have to respond to every single one of them. Just relax

Let's say he took and missed that shot. Would you be like, "oh that's okay, at least he tried", or - more likely - omg trade his ass, he's the worst player ever etc etc. My bet is this whole forum would be the latter.

Better question: why are your expectations for Lin always so damned low?

    I did watch the game.

HOU did challenge Curry's offense, but didn't challenge his defense.

    It should be his weakness.

Its a good question. Another good question to ask the officials is just how far a man is allowed to move when setting an illegal pick on the final shot.

    4 feet? 6 feet? Unlimited?

If Curry doesnt make an incredible shot or if Iggy isnt pulling shots out of his @**, we are talking about how clutch Harden is. I am sad about this loss but I LOVE that we have a closer in James Harden. When was the last time we had a guy that we could count on like that? I love t-mac as much as anyone here but I dont really remember him hitting any game-winners. When the game is on the line, Harden delivers. James can get that shot anytime he wants and I dont think anyone can stop him from getting it.

I think Clutchfans have been spoiled bigtime by Harden and this team. Just think back to where this team was before we traded for Harden; before we signed Lin and Asik. We were stuck in mediocrity and Scola was our best player lol. What hope did we ever have? We were lightyears from ever becoming relevent and now we have the 3rd best record in the west and are talking about "WCF" and having a chance to compete for a title.

This is one game of 82...we have the best GM in the business and an owner willing to spend. I see all these posters complaining when we have truly been blessed to be where we are.

This was easily his worst game since the Memphis game when McHale sat him for most of Q4.

those who blame Lin obviously don't know basketball game.

This lost was on the coaching staff. The warriors set screens and picks for their guards to get open all game. The Rockets offense is through harden or dwight. Iso game play. while the warriors play team ball.

Those who accused Lin of not taking more shots , maybe he suppose to give the ball to harden. and go stand in the corner. harden hold the ball and then pass the ball with a few seconds left.

beverley had to chase curry through screens all night , along with Lin chasing thompson.

He was very good defensively, though. Without some of the defensive plays he made down the stretch, the team doesn't even get to overtime.

I know you probably won't answer this, and that's OK -- but I'm honestly curious. Do you think Lin ever makes mistakes that aren't the fault of the coaching staff or someone else on the roster?

Do you know the definition of insanity? It's doing something over and over again and expecting a different result. Hence the Rockets are insane for throwing Dwight the ball in the post 7 straight times only to result in either a TO or a missed shot. The only two baskets Dwight made were off pick and rolls...but let's ignore that. Continue post ups!

You've made about 5 or 6 posts repeatedly with the same crap about Lin. I'm not sure which is more annoying the dudes that make Lin the second coming of Jesus Christ or people like yourself who get a find their daily joy from making up on a non core member of the rockets.

Also please find a post in thread or any other where I rage about Lin. He's a good backup point guard who has produced on some nights and had been medicore to poor in others. Pretty much what you expect from a solid role player. Yet you and a few others on this forum seem to enjoy polluting every thread with he sucks when he's not really that relevant.

I use to be able to lurk and actually read good discussions about the rockets.
But now every thread is filled with junk by people such as yourself. The fortunate thing is I don't actually have to view your posts in the future. Cheers =)

lin without a pick is useless. this isnt news. if dwight cant post in crunch time, why isnt he setting picks? harden iso is acceptable in moderation. lin iso is 100% fail yet people are still surprised by this?

    I wouldn't blame Lin. He's just been a non-existent factor lately.

The Lakers got blown out last game even with him playing against us that game. This game his somewhat positive +/- can't do anything to bring us back from 36% shooting.

I'm a Lin fan. I would like nothing better than to have him develop into a star in this league. So when Lin gets ample opportunities in the clutch and falls horribly short, I am disappointed in him as a player.

A lot of you Lin fans decide instead that Lin did nothing wrong and blame a bevy of external factors or complain that Lin shouldn't be scrutinized because he was demoted to a bench role, as if that matters at all. Absolutely content with mediocrity from one of your favorite players.

    I just don't understand.
