ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 2/20/2014

Lin "not having the role of PG on this team" doesn't excuse his passivity in the clutch. He was given the ball MULTIPLE times and he failed to produced anything at all with his opportunities. Is Lin not to blame at all for this? Ask yourself that question before you blame the "offense" and the "LOH".

 

GSW knew who are closers were

GSW best defenders were on Lin and harden

Bev was in for no reason, played bad defense and is invisible offensively

 

Yeah, that was not Casspi's fault. No timeouts left, 5 seconds on the clock, the Warriors are looking to foul intentionally with the Rockets down 3, and everyone was well-guarded. He had to try to toss it downcourt and hope the Rockets could get off a shot before they were fouled. If he threw it to someone under the Warriors' basket, they get hacked immediately and that's the ballgame.

 

i might be most bothered by Harden's best defense I've ever seen and we lost

 

Yeah, it's like he's trying to be a PG or something...

 

Lin had multiple opportunities to make plays -- more opportunities than either Dwight or Parsons had. He did nothing with those opportunities. Did you watch the game?

 

I'm going to be so pissed if Harden's elbow turns out to be serious. Lin was an idiot on that play.

 

Harden scoring does NOT = WINS team ball does ask MELO

 

Casspi should not have played tonight. Missed every shot, rebounded like a p***y, and made that boneheaded play at the end.

You have scoring option 1 && 2 Howard and Harden.
You have scoring option 3 Chandler Parsons

You have scoring option 4 Jeremy Lin who plays less minutes than scoring option don't know what Beverley.

Rockets loses tonights game.

Clutchfans: "OMG JEREMY WHY ARE YOU NOT WINNING THE GAME FOR US AS IF YOU WERE OPTION 1!!!! YOU ARE GARBAGE!! WE DONT REMEMBER PARSONS OR DWIGHT CAUSE WE r TRU ROX FANS!"

 

Here's what I saw:

A team that showed up not ready to play....outhustled, no movement in offense, DH playing very average. He sure doesn't draw Superstar fouls...in fact, he is on the short end of most calls. How can you allow a game of "bumper cars" with David Lee and then one single bump and a flop is a foul. Horribly officiated game.But, when James Harden is not scoring, it's over. And when he has no help...it's really bad.

 

Personally, without this becoming a catch cry, that fault was on Mchale. He put Parsons on curry to try and effect a jump shot, but Parsons is nowhere near the player Beverley is at running screens.

I literally stood up and said out loud how Bev ended up on Iggy

 

Maybe the Rockets thought Curry was gonna pull up and shoot it and wanted a taller defender on him. I have to admit I was a little surprised he attacked the rim like that. I figured he'd go for a midrange shot.

 

fuuu Chandler you should've scooped it to a wide open Dwight underneath the basket.....

 

One loss ( In OT btw ) after 8 games and a clutchfans meltdown.. I forgot how much hatred us Rockets fans have against our players.. we should all feel better by the mourning lol or should I say after the mourning..

 

I was perplexed by that as well. I just chalked it up to getting lost in screens/miscommunication between our players.

 

when i saw the replay i thought the same thing lol
