Whoever rep'd me about being surprised about Hamilton. The answer is yes I was surprised it was Hamilton. But no I wasn't surprised we acquired a wing. However I really thought we'd get something else done for somebody with a little more experience and a better shooter and defender. Somebody like Brandon Rush. And if Utah buys out Rush I still expect Morey will make a run at him and possibly even waive Hamilton if he has to to get Rush on this roster. It is not a given that Hamilton will stay here the entire season.

He throws lots of stuff on the wall. Some day something's bound to stick. Like he predicted Brooks would be gone by the deadline. But more often than not he's wrong

Awesome. I am glad to see he is excited about the new opportunity. Brooks will always be one of my favorite all time Rockets. He is a good enough player that he deserves to get some quality minutes.

I am not; I have wanted Hamilton for years (trade treads). Thought it would take more then Brooks to get him, too. He is the perfect fit for us (a 3 point shooter and rebounder) SPACING / SPACING / SPACING H&H, Lin, and Parsons all need it. He should get open looks all night long and will average 16+points a night - just hide and watch. YES, he is a chunker but he is on more than he is off. He grads a rebound, starts the brake, then sets-up for the kick out, 3 points. Will make Howard look even better in the 1/2 court sets, too.

If Randolph was going to happen - he already would have, IMO.

LOL Last time Lin was in the D-League he got a huge triple double. Lin dominated in D-League, that means nothing.

At the D-League level - as was stated above, there really is no comparison to the NBA - D-League can make scrubs look like stars and then they get to the NBA and they're just OK. Not saying he won't be good, but he has not proven anything in the least at the NBA level. Nada. I'm sure he'll get more chances very soon.
