Good grief, it's obvious that cyberx and King Drew had good info. KD has been piping the Rondo tune for weeks and cyberx had specific info before it broke. Both are legit, lay off it already. Never any legs on this...Chandler wasn't an option. Can't lie, kinda wanted to see Asik and Lin shipped out, together. Asik, in particular, I think is to good (in a league with few decent centers) to be barely playing.
Yeah I think they had good info, but I think it was just late info. That seems to be the theme on these "leaks". I get the feeling like the info is over a week old.
I think we may live to be glad that Morey couldn't find the deal he wanted for Lin and Asik. We retain tremendous depth with these two guys, who know our system and can be very effective in it. If one or both aren't dealt after the season's end, ultimately they become expiring contracts. Parsons is still here, thank goodness, and Daryl may yet pull a valuable contributor out of the woodwork using the Room Mid-Level Exception Bima just told us about. I feel pretty good about how things didn't go down. It's weird.
