He had more guaranteed money in Europe, marginal. He didn't want to go.

    LOL.

I'll hold judgement on this move, until we see how it pans out through the second half of the season.

Poor AB. You could tell that guy loved playing here, and loved the city.

You can replace Brooks with Lin in every statement you just made:rolleyes:

There's no way that would have happened. Dolan burnt that bridge. Linsanity hurt his pride too much.

Brooks isn't marginal. Dude can still ball. He'll show up in a Denver.

We have taken low risks on several busts so far, and none have panned out.

    T Will
    T Rob
    H Thabeet
    J Flynn

Maybe finally one of these fliers will work out, but don't count on it, and pray that Jlin and PBev stay healthy.

We just lost our best 3pt threat.

Getting Motiejunas was worth having Flynn's tiny contract on the books for a couple of seasons.

...that wasn't playing because he was a huge defensive liability.

AB was insurance......insurance that we may not need if Canaan is ready.

We had to have a 3 point shooting wing that was in mid-season form, and Hamilton gives us that.

This was a low risk, moderate reward type move.

If Lin was gone instead of Brooks, I wouldn't even be mad. Brooks is a better shooter and loses the ball less often than Lin. If Lin's contract wasn't that huge, he would have been traded a while ago.

If you think Lin's contract is the reason he can't be traded then you're just lying to yourself. Any team could have taken up his contract and got MORE money in return from his assets alone. The reason both Lin and Asik are not tradeable right now is because Morey is asking for too much for them. He's looking for more than a 1:1 ratio. I don't know why but if I had to guess it's probably because he thinks both these guys contributes a lot to the team and if he can't get a +1 bonus for them then he doesn't have to move them.

The reason Lin loses the ball more is because he's actually expected to run plays (unlike Bev and Brooks). As it currently is, he's a high risk/high reward player.

No, I mean the NBA. I Don't know where you are getting the europe stuff. He was also our best 3pt shooter and last person to play with a true center. Him and Parsons were the only ones that could throw decent entry passes to Dwight.

Garcia and Casspi weren't cutting it though, that had to be addressed and hopefully this guy can.

Brooks is not marginal. He excels at what he does. he can't do everything, but when he's needed, he almost always comes through.

Yes, he runs some plays better, but he also runs like a headless chicken most of the time which turns into TO's.

    LOL, what?

Anyway, will withhold judgment for now, as I have no idea who Jordan Hamilton is.

Lin is at a disadvantage because he doesn't get to run the plays... now he turns the ball over because he runs the plays.
