    Berman reported they were trying to deal him right up until this afternoon. Multiple credible sources say they've been shopping him since since the offseason. I think the average person would be mildly anxious around the deadline -- even if you aren't at the center of the rumor mill, and especially if you are. I would be, anyway. Hell, you could think you're safe and then get Steve Blake'd during warmups.

    If they were trying that hard, his agent would know. If his agent knew, he knew. If he knew, then he'd be depressed. If he was depressed he would suck, as he plays on emotion.

    Today, he'll either be relieved and play well, or still depressed and play poorly. If on any game in the future he plays poorly, it will be because he remembered he wasn't wanted.

    Just because they were trying to trade him, doesn't mean he was concerned it was actually going to happen. In any case, Lin's already said that he doesn't think about things he has no control over.
