Rumor is 76ers SF Danny Granger will be bought out of his contract and the Clippers will be the runner up to sign him. #Clippers

    -------------------------------------
The Clippers can offer Danny Granger a starting job as all Granger would have to do is beat out small forward scrubs Matt Barnes and Jared Dudley...

It's somewhat annoying to see that they're always the front-runners for every decent veteran that hits the market.

He has been so bad this year.

Let the Clippers have him, as he would probably make them worse.

They don't need another wing player! Honestly, they have no big men. DeAndre Jordan is good for 3-4 first half fouls and, beyond that, who do they trot out at center? Hedo Turkoglu? I don't understand why they won't sign Jason Collins or another available big man.

No, I get it. I'm not saying this move puts them over the top or anything.....I just find it annoying that every single veteran that hits the free agent market is "expected to sign with the Clippers." At the end of the day, it's just me being a hater. Nothing to see here. :)

How much can the clippers offer him?

If he's willing to play PF, I'd let him start instead of TJones

I don't want him going to the Clippers.

Sure, he's been rusty this year, but he can be scary good.

I'd love for the Rox to sign him.

Ever since the NBA players all started thinking of themselves as their own "brands", there has been a big push for all of them to try to get to LA or NY to market themselves as a big market brand name. The funny thing is that the Clippers have been in LA since the early 80's, but it wasn't until they drafted Blake Griffin, players and their agents didn't really consider them an LA team. It was only the Lakers. I guess for the Clippers sake, they're lucky that they are finally recognized as a team in LA.

Additionally, many of the big name stars live in LA in the offseason so playing on the Clippers allows them to spend time at home during the NBA season.

If Granger is bought out and Clips do get him he will do very well there. No one moves the ball the way the Clippers do. With Redick out for a while, Granger could experience a resurgence in the Clipper offense.

I'm a Clippers fan, but I have to say that the Spurs move the ball better.

Clippers are in rumors to sign EVERYBODY. Why are we not as aggressive? Them & Indiana are the only ones tryna win a championship. C'mon Morey

Until cyberx confirms it, we can only speculate as to whether or not moray is serious about the championship.

Rumors are made up by ESPN writers. It's just more interesting if the Clippers are in the mix. The Miami Heat are also in the mix for just about everybody.

Well, his twitter handle is @RealFrank13 so he is definitely for real. Doc Rivers dumped the dead weight to leave 3 open roster spots for Big Baby, Danny Granger, and Jason "The Jet" Terry. Mercenaries for playoff run.

What sucks for Jamison is that he didn't get any playing time because Doc said he was saving him for the playoffs...then he dumped him at the deadline. Jamison took less money (like less than $1M) to play on the Clippers. Talk about being jerked around.
