Okay but Hamilton doesn't get the open looks that garcia gets. I just watched 6 of his games on youtube and he is a better offensive player than I thought. He can definitely finish around the basket better than Garcia and he seems to have a better set shot than Garcia. He sometimes pulls up like Harden and jacks the three which is when his percentage goes down. Also his percentage was better in the beginning of the season when he had more consistent minutes. A little more athletic than Garcia could be an overall better option. I am more impressed than I thought. Wonder why he dropped out of the rotation after contributing a lot early on for the nuggets. They only started playing him again before the deadline. Must have had some coach or inner team issues.

Love AB, but like this deal too if Hamilton will be given a chance to beat out Cisco. Lack of a consistent swingman is the only thing hurting us right now.
Hamilton's ability to hit the corner 3 is intriguing. Honestly though, no guarantee he plays. Nice upside trade, hope it works out.

I like the move. Jordan Hamilton has grown into a solid rotation player since coming out of Texas. He has tremendous range and can fill it up from 3 when he gets hot. Solid player on D, not a lockdown wing by any means, but I think he is a great pickup for bench depth and a very good long range addition. Will fit perfectly with our p-n-r offense and the drive and kick mentality. Keep raining 3's

Garcia's been playing much better since he came back from that injury. Shooting better, at any rate. Maybe Hamilton competing for time will light a fire under his arse. Couldn't hurt.
I'm sad for Aaron cause you know he loves being here.....and ya can't help love players that WANT to be in your city. In the end, for NBA players its about getting the playing time and he just wasn't getting it here. So best of luck to him in Denver, hope he does well. On to this new kid. I'll withhold judgement till I actually see him play for the Rockets, but from what I have seen he appears to have the talent to be a solid rotational player, but like many young players he is inconsistent in using it. I wouldn't put much stock in what other online fans are saying about his defense. To be brutally honest , as a guy who enjoys and studies defenses many average online fans look no further than blocks, rebounds and steal #s to determine if a player is a good defender or not. As usual, Morey's little trades are never best judged when fresh....he normally makes people eat crow when they judge too quickly.
sure did but I don't just use a playoff series to determine a players value. at this moment AB isnt much of a factor anymore. In fact its gotten to the point where he isn't even being used. Morey did what he does best. got a young player that addressed some of the weaker points of the rockets RIGHT NOW.
Not really. Garcia isn't rotation material and Hamilton is an upgrade. Sad to see Aaron go. Loved the fact that he liked being in Houston so much and that always makes it tough to see him go, but he wasn't getting any time here so I like the trade. Aaron played well when our guards were hurt and filled in nicely. Hamilton is unproven but he can't be any worse than Garcia. Our bench is super weak and hopefully he can develop into something similar to a poor man's Harrison Barnes or something of that sort. Could be useful depth in the playoffs.
I hope ab refuses that trade......if its not going to help us significantly then dont break up da family.....send caspi or brewer not brooks u moron morey....
