What should the Texans do with the #1 Pick?

  1. Trade it Away

    14.5%
  2. Draft Blake Bortles, QB, UCF

    1.2%
  3. Draft Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M

    0.6%
  4. Draft Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville

    27.5%
  5. Draft Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina

    30.1%
  6. Draft Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn

    1.0%
  7. Draft Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M

    25.1%

I think all this Manziel/Bortles/Clowney talk is just the Texans doing an end-around and drafting Bridgewater at #1.

I think it's already been decided and everything else is just a smoke screen.

Just got a notification on my phone...

According to high ranking team source, Texans would select Blake Bortles if draft were today.... But then again, anything could be smoke.

What if the draft is on the scheduled date?

Why do we need to smokescreen when we're the first pick?

Thats the word, I would rather get Clowney then, but if BOB thinks so...so must be done.

Oh, if that's true, then it'll be Bridgewater ;)

Got the alert too. Kinda disappointing but if that's who they take I'll roll with it.

The only way I would want that is if we traded down for multiple picks.

I figured he would be the quarterback in this draft O'Brien would like the most... But I didn't figure McNair would let the Texans draft him.

In case we want to trade down? You never want to show your hand before the draft, I guess. Even if you have the 1st pick.

LZ was saying yesterday that he's heard from people around the league that BO'B has complete control over the draft and the 53 man roster. It's a big wildcard in terms of projecting who they'll take.

That's sad. O'Brien hasn't done anything to prove he's capable of managing personnel at that level. Proven coaches struggle with the concept, much less guys with no experience. Hopefully he comes through. But if true, I'm not all that impressed with McNair right now.

Hehe if this happens i pray TB5 ends up in Jax and roasts the Texans for the next 10+ seasons. Bortles is Locker 2.0, except with a weaker arm.

It's much more likely that the Texans just take Clowney and contribute to TB having a short and uneventful career on a scrub team in Jacksonville.

Mack is the better football player. There is no denying it.

You are so jaded, no one tales you seriously. I have not seen one post from you where you consider the texans taking anyone but clown3y.

    Your world revolves around clown3y.

It's crazy that I want the Texans to take the best player in the draft with the first pick....
