    Just because the deadline has passed does not mean trades will not occur. I believe that as long as the commish is notified, teams still have a few hours to work out a deal if one is already in place? Can anyone confirm this? Clutch?

    I'm not surprised about Lin or Assik, or that Morey would trade a non rotation player for a guy who might - might - be able to crack the rotation. What does surprise me is not picking up an extra shooter, a guy who can nail it even if he can't do anything else, especially since they cost so little.

    We have reached the NBA's trade deadline. Trades can still be announced after the deadline, as long as teams are on a call with the league.
