No, not at all. I'm in the crowd that didn't want to see Parsons dealt, even for Rondo. But I think we can mostly agree that Morey hasn't pulled off any particularly shrewd moves since Hinkie departed, not even with our expendable players. I don't think it's an outrageous question to ponder how much the Rockets lost in terms of dealmaking ability when they lost Hinkie.
Denver fan reviews of JHam not flattering. Couldn't get minutes until recently. When he did, tried to heroball his way into the extra year. Shaw wanted him to buy into team's scheme, but shot poorly from outside and played bad defense instead. He's a good rebounder, however.
Big and athletic. I like. Our team really has become one that plays above the rim. We've come a long way since the "GARM whines about 6'8" power forwards" days.
Except they are no longer in a position to be moving useful players in shrewd moves. They are trying to compete for a title. They aren't going to dump players for a 2nd rd pick to amass assets and hurt their ability to contend.
Seems fishy knowing how important brooks has been as 1st G off bench, when lin/bev or harden can’t go. Even last year in the playoffs.
? It's been half a season since Hinkie left and unlike in prior years, we're finally in contention. Why would you constantly move players, esp. critical pieces, once you're in a good place? Small tweaks only at best... Unclear what shrewd move even exists with our expendable players, outside of this one Morey just made (which I like a lot). It's like saying OKC hasn't made any splash trade moves since Harden...
That's kind of my take on him as well. Good player but not as near as good as he thinks he is. Also immature. It's like T-Will Round 2
questionable shots could have been from the offense he was in at Denver and less accountability on him. you really think hes gonna be jacking up jacked up shots with our team rotation.
Will Brooks approve trade?, 2:30 p.m. From our Fran Blinebury… Aaron Brooks would have to approve any trade and said yesterday that he wouldn’t. He wanted badly to stay in Houston. The Rockets have reportedly agreed to send Brooks to Denver for Jordan Hamilton, but because Brooks signed a one-year contract and his early Bird rights would disappear upon being traded, he can veto the deal.
