Mchale wanted to re-sign Dragic, Morey/Les signed Lin
McHale wanted to draft Zeller, Morey drafted White
Mchale wanted to trade for Dunleavy, Morey traded for Hamilton

Morey strikes it, third time lucky? :p

Weirdest part for me is that Brooks could have said no according to his contract. Brooks says yes why? Oh, cause another PG is coming.

I think its an H thing...

Houston's Big 3 of Howard, Harden, and Hamilton...

Can we call them Triple H?

Not that this would surprise anyone..... But Ronnie Brewer's days (hour) have to be numbered with Hamilton added to the roster.

Hamilton is from Compton. Played 2 years at UT.

I haven't seen him as much in the pros, but he has good size and a jumper that looks prettier than the results he's gotten over the course of his career. Playing in an offense with guys who demand double teams, as opposed to Denver, could have a really good effect on his percentages.

On defense, he's plagued by low effort. He's also frankly not especially quick laterally, which gives him trouble sometimes - in a lot of ways, similar to Harden on that end, though a little taller/longer.

No, Royce's agent got the wrong info. White was never McHale's choice. He was desperate for a C on the roster.

Brooks probably had to agree to being traded when he signed the contract guys.

It's not about Parsons being a max caliber player as Rondo being a poor fit. Rajon Rondo's offensive game is 15 feet and in. If you deal Parsons for him, you have only one guy that can stretch the D consistently, and that's Harden. Good luck spacing the floor for Dwight Howard. Then Harden needs the ball in his hands to create his offense. That isn't possible with Rondo.

Honestly, if Patrick Beverley can develop a consistent three point shot, he's what the team needs at the point. Think Mario Chalmers role in Miami. Play strong defense and hit open threes.

Probably the opposite. Brewer is a talented defensive player who can't shoot. Hamilton can shoot, but can't defend.
