The Rockets having his bird rights is a big deal though. Do they lose these rights if they make him an unrestricted free agent? Chandler's contract keeps them so flexible.
That's what I'm worried about too - and SOMEBODY would pay him that regardless if he's deserving of it. IMO he's not - even though I love his game.

I agree with Cyberx here. Chandler is going to be looking at Hayward's deal. Morey will probably look at Batum's deal. So yeah, clearly Chandler's contract situation will be key here.
Hmm, I think quite some people were suggesting or at least implying that. The consensus has been: the only untouchables are H&H. Somewhat semi-untouchable is Parsons. Everybody else is expendable.

There are the posts of the trade of Jones and others for Rondo if you look though, but who cares, they are not stupid enough to trade Rondo for Jones and other role players. Once again, Morey are smart enough to not give up Parsons for the injured Rondo, he will do it for K. Love within a minute if there is a chance.

I like how some people think that people in here want to trade Parsons. NO ONE wants to trade Parsons but that is what Ainge wants apparently so why even talk about Terence Jones. Honestly I don't blame Ainge I would go for Parsons too.
It sounds like the rockets are not fully commuted to signing Parsons after next year. I think rondo would have already been a rocket now, if we weren't on a win streak
Les says he will go over the cap for the "right player", and if re-signing Parsons doesn't qualify, nothing ever will. Put up or shut up.
