It's inevitable when you buy a garbage player like that. If he had any brains at all, he could have been a good player but hearing me talk about him, he just bricked 30 more mid range and 3 point shots.
didn't the sixers need to add salary prior to the hawes trade just to make the minimum salary requirement? and they just traded hawes for picks only? something is up
I like how some sports media types continue to give Dumars props: "Sure, he's made some mistakes, but this is the guy who put together that Detroit team that won a championship and was in contention for many years..." True enough, but he's also the same plug who signed Villanueva, Ben Gordon, Josh Smith. He did draft well with Monroe and Drummond, although I think they kind of fell into his lap at #5 and #9, respectively. As Janet would sing, "What have you done for me late-ly?"
Maybe we stand pat this year.... prob hard to move Lin and Asik with their salary next year. Just hold them til next year when the contract looks better to other teams. Now that they are playing and healthy lets just roll with what we've got.
