At the end of the day, it will boil down to what DM feels about Parsons' value to the team.
If he thinks that Rondo will be a significant upgrade, he may trade Parsons for him.
I don't think he should do that. I think he may want to trade Lin for Rondo instead.

Guys, Morey isn't going to give up Parsons. Period. Simply not going to happen. If we get Rondo it may cost us both Lin and DMo and a couple picks. But Morey ain't giving up Parsons.

    Shhhh. He's our secret.

It appears that the writer went to OU like our own Jenny Dial Creech. I'll be looking for a similar article from her soon.

Uhhhh, yes he is, he is consistently driving in and hitting those off balance shots or taking the left handed layup at the rack.

Ariza is a defensive minded spot up 3pt shooter, who's handles are lousy.

Rondo would be the primary post entry passer to howard, harden can still have ball at top of key then swing to rondo to probe defense then give howard the ball. Rondo would also be very efficient with the "give and go" with howard because of his experience. He made a living off this with KG. We already run this play 50% of the time. Rondo would make it look 100% better.

If rondo does come we need a stretch four & even if he doesn’t come I still think we need a stretch 4 or jones needs to get way more confident in his shot. Dunks and put backs are not playoff basketball.

If I had any money to bet, I'd bet on zero percent chance that Morey trades Parsons for anyone not named Kevin Love right now.

How do you know that? And why should I believe you? Are you all knowing?

Seriously, basketballholic, you're a pretty good poster. What happened on this post. Why the need to pretend to be all knowing....unless you're speaking in the 3rd person.

If you're Morey, you get back on the phone and make that deal, young man. It is your job to make the Houston Rockets the best they can be.

So there's a possibility. I'm sure Morey is/has been weighing all these scenarios before he makes the decision.

    In Morey I Trust! lol

Sure there's a possibility. If Morey had no intention of resigning Parsons, he would've been dealt already.

Boston need to repay McHale for the KG trade and give us rondo for anyone not named Harden, Howard or Parsons. These guys are the core and you shouldn't break that IMO.

I love Rondo's game but the reality is he is coming off an ACL and is now 28. Chandler's upside is much higher and the chemistry already exists with him. It would be a slap in the face to Chandler to trade him after all his off season work recruiting Howard who is now happy and helped us to 3rd seed. I would be devostated to lose him to be honest.

I think the trade is dead.... I think Boston refused to do a deal without parsons. Rockets backed out.

I wouldn't do that either. We are on an 8 game streak. Your asking our third best player and best contract plus picks for only someone that would still be our 3rd best player (but paid like one)

I say use our assets on an ariza or hawes instead
