Lin has never been a good passer... probably will never be...

his role should be to attack the basket relentlessly

draw defenders then pass the ball...


as a player if he is failing to do so... its on him

but ultimately on the Coaches for not demanding he do it, or bench him

my guess is he is told to stand at the 3 point line and shoot 3s

but we can all pretend thats not happening...

I happen to think an aggressive Lin with the 2nd team gives you the best chance vs elite teams... as their second units wont be able to match up against Lin Asik and Dmo

but it dosent seem to translate down in Texas

 

Then they need to get better as an overall player.

Agreed that Jeremy is playign a bit out of his comfort zone, but he is not as good as Harden who plays the same style - so they clash a bit.

Jeremy off the bench makes perfect sense, as he gets more than half his minutes without Harden - and can play his ROLE in those minutes.

He is a good scoring PG - but he is sloppy with the ball far too often and is not as good as Harden who basically plays the same role.

trade lin. i don't think he seems to understand how to play the 6th man role...he needs to come out attacking right away, with the mind set to score. pass 2nd. will see how he plays vs GSW...

 

Then he's not a very good listener.

 

I really enjoyed actually watching this game on TV last night...

I'm sure all the Lakers fans were in their forums afterwards going "Enjoy it while you can because, come playoffs, you'll are going to choke". Oh oh oh....DISSed!

 

I agree with this fair statement. I really don't know what is going in his head. Looks like he checked out mentally last game. I understand he is unhappy with all the trade rummors and his current status on the team. But be professional. Play your game and have fun no matter what! Just as he said himself, play for the God not for any individual human being....

On the other hand, I also understand he is a human being after all :grin: It is easier said than done...

 

Honestly, when his game goes south....I'm not sure if they are risky plays, or downright ill advised (or dumb) plays. He repeatedly has that issue of jumping into the air before looking for a teammate to pass the ball to.

His shot has been off too lately, but he's getting great looks set up by his teammates. He's just in a funk.

But the biggest issue is the turnovers. Needs to calm down mentally, and just play more aggressive.

Is he speaking as a fan or the administrator? It seems like the spirit of GRM is that LOH is welcomed here but any Lin fan is going to be trolled and rediculed. Joining date, distance to the Rocket inner circle and opinions are valued more than facts, stats and analysis.

Clutch is a great guy. But the rule of GARM is just mind-boggling.
