Why is it a waste of time to make a minor move? We have a good team already, "fringe championship contenders" according to the talking heads. Shoring up a couple weak spots on the bench could be enough to nudge us into legit contender status.

We don't need another star, we already have two of them and that's enough with a good supporting cast. Some of you guys are just falling into the trap of being obsessed with the big splash move, even if it's a bad fit, wrecks chemistry, etc.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make. The amount of panting over Rondo is ridiculous. He's too risky. All the Rockets need are a couple of utility players who buy into the system. Then let's see how this team does in the playoffs, but don't mess with your rotation.

Very true. This is a risk either way. In Morey we trust!

I totally get this logic and in many ways I feel this is probably the best move, but if you have a chance to snatch a player like Rondo, you do it. I really don't think this trade will happen. According to Morey in some of his interviews, trades like these typically happen during the offseason and not during the regular season. You take a look at what Denver and Utah did with Melo and D-Will and you just don't see that happening very much during the season.

In the end, I'm happy if they can do small upgrades to the bench. I would rather them keep Asik until the offseason. I think if Asik plays a big role for this team for the remainder of the season, including the playoffs, Morey will be able to actually flip him during the offseason. Can you imagine if Houston were to make it to the WCF with Asik on this team? Teams will see the impact he has once again and Morey can really upgrade this team in a place where he sees fit.

I'm ok with that we will improve our team sooner or later.

So, you all hear 1 negative report about the H & H fellas concerning fit and you don't get your hit of insider info for a short time and your first reaction to it all is that it's not going down and hopefully something minor happens.

Hasn't the past few deadlines showed you all anything? Morey has his ducks in a row and he'll make the right decision at the right time or he walks away.

    Patience is required.

Last night was a testament to how important Chandler Parsons is to this team. Everybody loves him.

Replace him with a guy like Rondo, a notorious ******* in the league, things might not work out right away. He's similar to Harden. Alpha-male, standoffish… things could get testy in the beginning if they don't co-exist out of the gate. I understand the dude is a champion and supremely talented, but Chandler needs to be on this team if we are going to win a Championship. Color me skeptical on all the Parsons rumors. No way he includes him in a trade…. just doesn't make sense.

You don't give up Otis Thorpe for Clyde friggin' Drexler. We have chemistry and a championship with Otis Thorpe. What has Clyde done other than lose in the Finals?

I don't care about regular season games of Parsons ... I am sure he will step up in the playoffs ... i just don't believe he will good enough to push us pass a round. Rondo is a diffence maker but as i said again ...Morey tries to lowball Celitics ... he will sacrifice this year ... will test the team.
