Man, I would have said the same thing, but the announcer said he wasn't going anywhere and Rondo shot him a serious look. The announcers reaction to the look was "oh my goodness" as in he IS being serious. Rondo doesn't make trades, the Boston Celtics do, but there is something behind that story.

It does not seem like it. There is a big gap at the end of the audio that sounds more like they are making a mockery of the idea than seriously entertaining it.
