We want Portland to lose. 3 seed is better then 4th or 5th. If we get the 2 seed later in the season cool. Just want to stay away from 4/5 seed.

And Spurs win back to back games against top teams without Parker, Leonard and Duncan/Splitter out for one game each. Manu is still working his way back too.

Yep. And we want San Antonio to hold on to the 2 or 3 seed as well, so if we hang on to 2 or 3 as well, then we get San Antonio in the 2nd round, who we match up great with. Would rather play them than LAC or OKC 2nd round for sure.

Everyone needs to be praying OKC snag the 1 seed and Clippers take the 4th.

Obviously 2nd seed would be great to have HC against San Antonio in the second round.

But if OKC 1st, Clippers 4th, I would give anything to have the Spurs/Rockets interchangeable as the 2nd and 3rd seed.

One of the teams we don't match up well against is eliminated before we even (potentially) see them.

And for that same reason, the Clippers would probably prefer to come 4th and hope we can deal with the Spurs, as they'd need to go through OKC either way. The Clippers have no hope against the Spurs.

Why won't they just die already? Bunch of old farts and benchwarmers kick the crap out of us everytime we play them.

I was just telling someone the other night about this.

The one thing I just wanted to point out that this team is a different team then the one that faced the Clippers in the beginning of the season. The team was very fresh and was just learning how to play with each other. This team is starting to mesh well with Howard. Harden really struggled against them.

I also want to point out that T-Jones nor D-Mo were in the rotation at the time when we played them either. They both got minutes the first game because it was a blow out.

I'm not going to say with a straight face that I think the Rockets can beat them hands down but I would like to hold my reservations on how we stack up against them until we play them later next week. The only drawback to this is the fact that we're playing them on a b2b which sucks.
