I understand what your saying. However Parsons is also the product of his environment too. Houston is an offensive juggernaut, so obviously he per is going to be high here. Batum is making $11MM a year and he is a 2 way player but I don't think Parsons will get that much on the open market. I'm thinking more like $9MM to $10MM a year.
I just disagree. Parsons is better than all those players quoted above. To say that Parsons is a product of the system is beyond silly. If you can't see the skills he displays nightly then I don't know what to tell you. They had an interesting stat the other night saying that Parsons lead the league in miles run per game and he ran at the 2nd highest rate of speed to Chris Paul, or something along those lines. I'm sure if you compared advanced analytic stats Parsons would blow those guys away, because it's pretty easy to see by just simply watching a game.

Exactly. Any Rockets fan who doesn't realize that Parsons gets something like four years, $50 mil on the open market is kidding themselves. I expect Daryl Morey to shop Parsons eventually, just not quite yet. Maybe in June.
We can pay chandler what ever money he commands, he won't lose value just because he's getting paid... Maybe a little, but guys with worse contracts get traded either way.

What is your deal? His range of value for Parsons is far more realistic than yours. Parsons is going to be very well paid... Morey said it, you can look at the money Gordon Hayward turned down from the Jazz, the money Batum got and Tyreke Evans received.
Dude I love Parsons as much as the next Rockets fan, the guy has some serious skills. But he also plays in an uptempo offense. That's no knock on him, it's just the system we run here. We have 91 points already against the Lakers right now and we are not even in the 4th quarter. I'm looking at his game objectively, which is something I don't believe your doing.
