Im saying that the defense has to let the gas off for players 3-5 on the floor while they focus on Harden and Howard. He is only getting those points because he is the third option, he has been left open more often than not. I dont believe he has the actual skills to lead any team as its alpha dog. Rondo IS an alpha dog. One is a star caliber player, the other guy is borderline at best.
PPG14.3. RPG5.6 APG4.9 Guess who's numbers those are? A similar player that many believe is a close as anyone to becoming an all-star. All these hypotheticals are ridiculous, hey Aaron Afflalo was almost voted in as an all-star this year cause he's playing on a crappy team. Doesn't make him a legit all-star. Again I really do like the kid but you guys can't keep overvaluing the Scala's, Hayes', and Lowry's of the world.
Great argument. A playoff team beat one of the worst teams in the league. Surprising? Hardly. But Rondo was not the reason.
Oh yea? Season ticket holder for 8 years. He is a role player, guy. Thats it. He is NOT a star, he is NOT a main player. He is always going to be 3rd best on a championship team at his prime. If you think Parsons can lead a team, or deserves a max contract then your breath must have an oddly Parsons phallic smell to it.
Let me repost this, since it answers EVERYONES questions and rebuttals regarding my thoughts on Parsons and the potential trade deal.
Well, Rockets fans should be glad they're playing the Lakers tonight. Rockets not really into this game from looking at the first half. A lot of players seem to have their heads elsewhere.
You would expect more out of Afflalo as the #1 option. I seriously can't believe the hate I'm reading on Parsons. What role players go 10-10 from 3 in a game? LOL.
So he's supposed to go out and beat playoff teams with arguably one of the worst supporting casts in the league? Nobody's saying he's Lebron, but have some common sense...
I'm thinking that Greg Smith has to be a candidate to be moved in a smaller, under the radar type deal, since he's a free agent. Garcia only to a contender since he gets to approve his trades. I figure Brewer is mostly a cap throw-in, but our 2nd round picks should be appealing to teams. We should be able to do something that improves the team.
You're not understanding, when he's the 4th best player on a championship team people want to give him credit, but when his team does poorly, it's not his fault. Maybe it wasn't you that was doing that, but it was pretty stupid earlier.
