is he not in the same outfit he was in when he was undercover at the biker gang bar? iirc they haven't changed, but maybe i'm wrong.

EDIT: yeah here is a picture of him at the biker bar

I think he only wore it because he thought it made a good disguise.

Agreed, and it also reminds you of the time period - attention to detail. Nothing more.

I'm starting to believe the theory that Marty's father-in-law is involved. This explains his daughter's sexually explicit drawings, the doll scene, and her behavior as a teen and Marty's repeated comment about the solution being right under his nose. I think we'll find out that Marty killed Tuttle.

Could Hart and/or Cohle be the killer(s)?

I thought the Yellow King was identified as a man with scars or a serious burn on his face (meth cooking?)

The theory of transference is fun too play around with. Did Hart killing Ledoux make him become the Yellow King or Cohle looking over the statue at the end of Ep.5 make him change at that moment.

Hart's daughters sexually explicit drawings (one with a man wearing a mask) and the spiral drawing suggest sexual abuse from someone. Hart has also shown violence towards young women.

Cohle seems less likely to me. He seems to be discovering the evidence in the school for the first time based on his reactions. Plus I think he's still 100% commited to and has been investigating the murders the entire time (perhaps undercover), Hence being at a crime scene of a murder not mentioned in papers or on the news. Aside from the troubling existential philosophy I do believe he's still "keeping the bad men from the door".

Tuttle is interesting. As the inmate saying it was big people. How about a Preacher who's brothers with the governor! The creation of a task force too take over the investigation doesn't help matters. Were the murders designed too push that task force ahead?

    in the words of marty,

you guys are just obsessive. you need to keep that stuff to yourself.:p

can't wait for tonight! today is sunday right?

rocket river, hang in there. I too was like wtf after the first 2 episodes, as I was expecting 'breaking bad', ' the wire' and 'cheers' by the way some were hyping it. but it's legit. i'd boycott the emmys if one of these two don't win one.

Tonight would be episode 6, correct? I was able to DL all 5 from torrentz so I can see what all the hullabaloo was about.
