i've read every page of this thread and majority of the responses are posts heralding how beneficial his passing, defense, attitude, etc would be for our team. i agree that many posters expressed that they don't want to give up parsons but many of the same have stated that having a chance at a superstar like rondo is worth it and would make us contenders. i never brought up rondo in my statement. all i said was people were super hyped about him at one point and the tides are changing. you're making assumptions and you know what they say about assuming.
Yeah but he was on a team that happened to win the championship thanks to having 3 future HOFers, so he's a "winner"
It's not that I don't like him, it's that he's an awful fit for the Rockets, and I'm tired of him being talked up as if he would help the team.
lol, that's not all you said, but it's ok. This is really not what I want/meant to discuss and it's not worth an argument so it's all good.
The only player we have to worry about with free throws is Howard. Other than that _ Harden makes up for everyone else in that department. And Rondo only averages 2 free throws per game and makes one. That's not great but he doesn't go to the line often anyway and since he's good to go 1-2 opposing teams wouldn't pull a Hack-A-Rondo... IMO those reasons make his free throw shooting meaningless.
