Improvement happens, but 24% shooters don't become 38% shooters overnight and that would be the case if Rondo's shooting the last 10 games was any more than a fluke.

Rondo isn't worth Parsons straight up. Boston would have to throw something else in + take back some salary.
Sure, but they don't get THAT much better overnight. I think we'll see his 3 point shooting percentage to drop to around 30% by the end of the year, and even then, that would show a ton of improvement.
Call it a fluke all you want. You forget that this guy had a little less than a year to do nothing but shoot, while attemptingto get his llegs back under him. He may not become a 38% 3 point shooter but you wouldn't take his playmaking ability with a much improved 33% or so 3 point shot? Better than nothing.
The deal is Parsons for Rondo people have been against that all day it's not just because of the game he is having. Thats my point. No one would turn down Asik Dmo 2nd rounders for Rondo.

I'm not trading jones in a package for Milsap. Jones will be as good as Milsap by next season. He is not a big enough upgrade to trade anyone outside Lin/Asij for. I think rondo is great, my favorite non rocket in th nba, most fun player to watch in the nba to me. But, boston doesn't have as many options as it thinks. Morey is just wearing them down to the deadline and gonna make a deal without parsons. I am more willing to trade parsons for rondo than a lot of you but not with draft picks. I would give them anyone they want outside the big 3 and any kind of draft pick they want for rondo
He has been out a long time, it wouldn't be overnight. You think he has never shot a ball his whole time out?? I'm not saying it wouldn't change back but sometimes people really do get better that quickly. Sometimes practice translates to games randomly.
