I'm watching Celts game and they talked about Rondo saying tonight that this year feels different than previous in regards to him being traded. Announcer talked about getting Rondo to sign a jersey and he told him to hurry up he might not be around long. Rondo has been dealing assists, not shooting too well and getting beat by Dragon on defense. Still looks to be slowed from his recovery.
The Rockets need Rondo to toughen up howard and make Harden play some defense. They are not going to get past the second round with this current team and playful attitude. Maybe Harden should step up and be a leader of this team. I just don't think he is serious enough. I'm all for Rondo and maybe a Dunleavy. But let's be serious. Can we compete with Indiana, OKC, Miami, Spurs, or even the clippers in a playoff series?
Idk what page it was on but he basically said someone who we consider a credible source will provide a leak/info.
Rondo just got crossed up by Goran Dragic and blew by him easily. Rondo won't be ready by the playoffs I think.
Apparently Millsap has a mean streak. Hawks just lost their 7th straight. Hopefully we are kicking the tires on Millsap.
Maybe he's just dogging it. He looks like a milk carton that's past its expiration date. Celts can keep him, we can keep Parsons, life is good.
Alot of people tend to forget that Morey has said that he def wants that 3rd star on this squad. After signing that star, the Rockets will be strapped to the cap. Morey also doesnt believe Parsons is that 3rd star yet either as seen from his recent interview. You guys fail to believe that outside the 2 NY teams, and Los Angles Lakers, not many owners are willing to pay the tax out of pocket. The tax according to the new CBA is very punitive. For instance, if the Rockets were to get a rando or love, and they would sign a max extension, they Rockets will be over the cap, and then to extend parsons that would take even more money, and now as the rules stand, for every $10million over the tax, there is a $2.50 to every dollar rate.... So if after signing Parsons to a $10million (i know it will be a little higher), that will cost the Rockets almost $30million in tax and salary for Parson, which the Rockets or any other team not named NY or LA would be willing to pay, and Parsons in the eyes of the Rockets will not be worth that much money. In conclusion, any deal that involves a 3rd star, Parson is most likely the biggest trade piece that goes out in that deal....... THERE IS NO DOUBT. For the people that think the Rockets organization owes Parsons anything, or for the people that are in love with Parsons, you guys have to hope that he becomes that 3rd star, gets paid, and stays in Houston. P.S. Rondo and Jeff Green would instantly make the Rockets serious contenders to win this year, and in the coming years. Rondo has Stockton's blood in him. Just my $0.02
