except he has never had the small sample fluke from the three. he was garbage when he came back and now in Feb its around 50 percent. He is working with the same coach D Rose had to get him to shoot better. Rose got better cant see why Rondo cant.
I think Rondo adds more to this team than just Defense. He is easily one of the more well rounded PGs in the league. He is kind of in the same mold as Jason kidd in that he isn't prolific offensively, but grabs a ton of boards and makes the best passes. Honestly, I think this is the perfect PG to pair with Harden. The fact that he can't shoot well kind of sucks. You guys are talking about how Harden needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Rondo is a PG and any PG needs the ball in his hands to be effective. You really think Chris Paul doesn't need to the ball in his hands to make Harden better. You better believe Chris Paul is a ball dominant PG. With that said, Rondo may be cheaper in the long run than Chandler Parsons which may put my finger on the trigger. I only pull the trigger if I get Jeff Green in the deal and not give up a first.
Its cause to him players never aim to vet better. They're supposed to be content being the same player they were when they started and never strive to improve, in his world.
I also want to add that you guys who are saying Rondo can't shoot and stuff. If Chicago called and said we want Asik, Lin, Parsons for Derrick Rose and Boozer..... Would you guys still say the following: 1. Derrick Rose is a ball dominant guard (which he is)... we don't want him 2. Derrick Rose can't shoot 3s consistently (which he can't)... we don't want him 3. Derrick Rose just came off significant knee damage... we don't want him Seriously? would you say no to D. Rose for the same reasons you are knocking Rondo.
No trade is going to happen tonight with all these games on right now, they are all gonna go down right before the actual deadline.
