No the problem is you guys are taking quotes literally so I guess I have to explain it. My point is, those guys were leaders on championship teams and they were considered jerks. Rondo was a leader on a championship team. Whether you think he's a jerk is immaterial because my point is people can handle alleged jerks when you're winning championships. There is a quote that tells people don't listen to the way a message is delivered listen to the message. Stop looking at Bird and Jordan's names and actually understand the context they're being put in.

I'm not sure him teaching them how to ride 3 HOFers to a championship would help Harden and Howard since they'd be the ones having to do the heavy lifting.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he didn't take anybody's feelings into account when he traded Landry or amnestied Scola. He's going to do whatever he feels is best for this team. Now, if he TRULY feels like the rest of the team won't embrace Rondo due to his attitude, I don't think he pulls the trigger. Morey is a smart man, and he knows what's best for this team going forward.

    Rondo was the leader?

    HA

He was a distant 3rd behind KG & PP.

    Hell, maybe even Ray Allen.

Chill out on your reckless talk.

King Drew says there will be a major leak tonight by someone reliable.

Cyberx reports Harden and Dwight question how Rondo will fit in the locker room.

At least that's what I think is the latest.

Right, exactly. That's one thing I like about Rondo even with the quirky attitude at times is his desire to win and effort. That's why I compare him to guys like Jordan, Bird, Isiah, Magic, the desire to win and when it comes time to matchup with elite players on the other side Rondo rise to the occasion. That's winner. If KG doesn't get hurt following their championship season they may have won two or three championships with Rondo at the helm. And after they got banged up and aged he actually got better and the team got better. That's a star. That's why I hope that Harden's and Howard's opinions if it is their opinions is based on information and not heresay or solely the desire to keep a friend.

I'm not going to get into an argument with people who want to literally compare Jordan and Bird to Rondo. Again it was the context I put them in not literally comparing their physical skills. I think I explained my point.

Sometimes his attitude is poor, but he has a winning attitude overall.

Not touchy-feely enough for this team.

I am not crazy about this move. I know he is a good defender and passing PG but the fact that he can't make a shot outside the paint concerns me when we try and post up Dwight and they basically can play 2 on 1 against DH.

Pierce and KG said that he was the leader themselves last season...

Rondo is a little b****, not even Boston's 3 main players during their championship run were fond of him.

These guys get paid to win, not have fun. If they can win and have fun at the same time, all the better because winning is fun. But putting fun before winning is amateur, not professional. They should be coveting Rondo and his ring.
