Is that Rondo? It's hard to tell behind the mask...

Michael Beasley, Steve Francis, and Mehmut Okur were "jerk offs" too. Please don't compare Rondo to Jordan and Bird

Exactly. Rondo can be a leader.

Well at least Rondo likes to pass the ball.

And that was arguably more about Ray Allen than it was Rajon Rondo...Ray was always the odd one out. KG and Pierce clicked, being friends since high school. Rondo took on KG's personality and held Pierce's respect. Ray was probably the last to ever trust "a young kid" like Rondo as the point guard. Rondo also doesn't take crap from anybody, and I don't think Ray liked that.

At least that's the side of the story that I came to understand over the years.

But don't you want a guy who can 100% get the ball into the post to Dwight and throw easy alley oops to him?

He might be a jerk...but Rondo knows how to play bball and win, effectively.

Just say "I really appreciate your input, but I have to disagree. Let's try to make this work."

So if Morey asked Howard and Harden, does that mean Parsons is most likely involved?

If Dwight/Harden aren't open to Rondo it makes me question their desire to win, honestly.

What makes you say Rondo is a big game performer?

and the second he gets the ball down to Dwight in the post, his man goes to double because no one in the league respects his shooting ability.

Did those guys lead those teams to championships? And I will compare Rondo to Jordan and Bird, sorry. How is that any different than you comparing him to role players and guys who never carried their teams anyway? He may not be on their level as far as carrying franchise but the guy was consistently putting up near triple doubles and two future Hall of Famers nearly handed him the reigns to the team. So yes I will compare him to them because I think he has championship leadership qualities and mega talent.

I wonder what happened with the alleged potential fist fight between Rivers and Rondo

Morey shoud have gambled on Rondo. With the exception of trading Parson like rumored.

Lol that you guys actually think Morey asking his two stars their thoughts and him still not going thru with the trace if it makes our team better.

Not that he doesn't care just that it probably affects less than 5% of his decision on the subject.

well... i don't see what the issue is. it's not like the rockets are telling jokes and what not on the court. but, rockets are a tight knit team. friends on and off the court.

perhaps morey was considering trading parsons and H&H vetoed that filthy garbage.

i like howard and harden even more. saving morey from himself.

They want Asik more than we want anything they could offer and I'm they know and hate that. Cuban was the one who said all that bad stuff about how the Rockets were cocky about getting Dwight and that nobody in the league would trade for Asik and they'd rather let him sulk in Houston because of how sure we were that we would get Dwight (which we did so......what an ass for even saying anything, amiright).

Dirk would be nice to Asik, but screw Dallas. They know if they called Morey he'd laugh and put the phone on his desk.

Agreed but you and me know Harden can get shut down at times which means we would have to rely on Lin, Bev, or Parsons getting the ball to Dwight...they still need to learn at this...where Rondo has been there and done that.
