I agree. The ironic thing is that most of the same criticisms being made about Rondo could be made about Sam Cassell. Cassell had a rotten attitude if you looked at it but he was all business and about winning.

I don't wanna hear Howard say anything about how bad he wants to win a championship in interviews anymore- if this is the reason the traded doesn't go down

Well Harden and Howard and laugh themselves right out of the 2nd round.

Just to add I would hesitate about trading Parsons for Rondo. But at the end of the day I think Rondo can get us over the hump and make the Rockets a championship favorite.

If Dwight couldn't handle Kobe's attitude, he ain't gonna handle Rondo's either.

So because he doesn't want to completely destroy the chemistry of the team that means he can't talk about wanting to win?

How would it work that Morey asked them how they felt and then ignored what they said?

Not true at all. Rajon Rondo's teammates love him, joke and laugh with him in the locker room just like any other person. But when he's on the court, he's serious, he's a leader, and is all about winning.

The only people that don't like Rondo are some members of the media, because he gives BS answers to any questions you ask. I don't care, because I wouldn't want to talk to the media if I were a player either...

And of course, opponents don't like him because he doesn't care about making friends.

But he's great with his teammates.

Yet those "jerk offs" have a combined 9 NBA Finals appearances and 6 NBA championships. Larry Bird and Michael Jordan were also jerk offs.

That's a really good point. Unfortunate cuz our team isn't going anywhere currently. Someone like rondo is necessary.

Exactly. The only person he didn't get along with was Ray Allen.

The difference is this is Dwight's team and we are winning.

This thread is awesome and all but valid points hardly get mentioned or discussed and people are constantly quoting and replying to trolls and narcissistic assholes who want to derail the message by attacking each other...

grow up CFs & thank you 99ers, Mods, and the 'insiders' for making this thread salvageable
