some team out there will be desperate enough to trade away a real asset for Rondo.

I don't think the Rockets organization can ever be dumb enough to make those kind of decisions. CP25 just too hard to find.

we do need a real PG, though. we don't want to set any deadlines for when the PG situation will be fixed, but it is real difficult to watch hybrid 1-2 combos try to play the point.

also, i don't mean to offend. just cuz you want Rondo over CP doesn't make you stupid. but if a GM does it, he will be considered dumb.

There is a reason that the Celtics are wanting to trade him. Not only is he a locker room cancer but they don't think he is worth what he will be demanding. They are already in Tank mode, no need to trade him if he wasn't such a negative.

Its risky man. The eye test alone shows that the guy may never be what he once was. If our goal is to build around H & H, Parsons is the perfect complement we can possibly find. This team is in a win now mode and can find the upgrade at stretch 4 and bench shooters to get close to the same result. A 3rd guy averaging nearly 18ppg on efficient shooting? One that is the biggest for team chemistry? You don't mess with that unless you are getting KLove who most agree is the perfect complement.

Man, stop it. Rondo is a LEADER. He may lose his cool at times, but his attitude alone changes the team from nice guys to villans. Which is good. We want a US vs THE WORLD mentality.

After your meltdowns and laughable B-ball knowledge in the NBA dish, I'm just glad we aren't on the same side. Thats enough for me. Don't know why you were never on ignore to begin with. Bye.

Rondo would be a horrible fit and waste of money for the Rockets.

What would be interesting to see is if houston can get a SF to replace parsons if they would get a deal done. I like the mentality and toughtness rondo would bring but would be worried aboit his acl.

Nah. The "stated" reasons you gave are the general opinion. The "actual" reasons you listed are the extremely small minority.

    I couldn't agree more.

Why cant anybody see that this guy is where he is at because he played with 3 first ballot hall of famers?

How hard is it to be an assist leader when you are playing with three of the best scorers of their era?

He is not a max player but has a divalike max player attitude

IF I'm trading Parsons I'm taking back Green. It's 50/50 thing on giving up Parsons though. Rondo just makes so much sense, especially given the fact we will HAVE TO go through Westbrook to reach any finals

A still recovering wobbly Rondo vs a up and rising 6'9 perimeter player that can slash, sometimes create, shoot and literally score at will. On most nights Parsons is the only real perimeter player with some height. So wow, this is a tough one. Not....

To be fair, Parsons would probably be an all-star on another team. Dude is seriously underrated, even though he gets major props from media and other teams. Would he be as good as Harden as a #1 option, probably not; but he is just an all-around great player who I think would average 20+ as a #1 option.

Parsons. We have 2 good point guards and Parsons is our glue.
