Lowry was always an average to decent FT shooter though while Rondo is one of the worst at the PG position. Also Lowry didn't get much playing time so we can to the Rockets his 3 pt shot wasn't refined until he worked on it for a year which allowed him to eventually become average there. Rondo has started for the last 6 years there and their have no signs of it improving.
The deal I want done is Casspi and Brewer to the Bulls for Dunleavy. The Rockets do the deal because they get a much better backup wing and the Bulls do it because Casspi and Brewer are essentially expiring deals because their next year's contracts are non-guaranteed.
For a rondo to houston deal a 3rd team has to be brought in, that requires a lot of time and work. Not going to happen with how slow things are moving. It will be a small move for picks or a small time player.
if they are separate trades you are confusing the trade machine. It won't factor in the other trade. Wouldn't that matter? I don't buy that the CBA is written so stupidly as to have such a loophole. Might as well not have the original rule if it can be side stepped so easily.
If it's a "big" trade, we should probably hear something by tonight. Generally the big trades fall and then all the small ones follow. If it's just something small, it could be all the way up to 1:50pm tomorrow before we hear anything at all.
So would you do this trade?... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lvds555 Adding a 1st round pick by Houston...
Random aside: Are no members allowed to view past posts of other members here? Or am I just not allowed to because I just signed up the other day? I wanted to creep on King Drew to see some of the things you may have said about the Howard sweepstakes, but I can't view it.
Agreed on Granger, his injury last year sped up the development of Paul George and he is already one of the top 5 SFs in the league.
How do we know how fast things are moving? We are people on a message board, we are not in an NBA front office.
