We are winning now with Parsons. 7 in row to be exact.

Would Celtics rather have Green at $9m for 3 years or Parsons at $10-11m for 4 years?

This is probably the least-informed post in this entire topic...

I believe the rumors are true. Before we got Dwight my source told me if a team offers Parsons a max next season they would easily let him go.

Why not trade him now for Rondo?!

Yes, everyone knows that. I'm just always befuddled when everyone compares Rondo to Kidd, Nash, or Magic in his ability to lead an offense. The best he did with a close-to prime Garnett, Pierce, and Allen is top 6, which the Rockets already are.

Laughable and delusional come to mind. Green has a player option. No way that Morey wants him. And two picks + Parsons? Unbelievable. I call this fan crack.

7 in a row only means something important in May and June. Right now, it's just a team playing well and a nice spot in the schedule.

Lol yeah, I was messsing around with it earlier and I couldn't get anything to work that wouldn't require giving up the entire team either.

I remember you in that thread. You also did provide a little inside info as well. Have you heard anything?

I think you're missing my point.

Rockets play at a much faster pace and get tons of easy buckets because of it.

A team that slows the ball down and plays more in the half court would probably have a harder time scoring the ball.

Rondo in this offense playing at this pace would probably get the team even more easy shots, not to mention when the pace actually does slow down, he would help in those situations as well.

I agree completely. I, however, am against a trade of Parsons for Rondo not because I think Parsons is some sort of superstar, but because I think he's the better fit for this team as constructed and as good as a player Rondo is, I don't see how he fits with Harden. I'd be happy with just bolstering the bench.
