It means Houston would potentially deal Chandler. They absolutely don't want to do it, but they might cave and do it.
I hope we don't give up CP. He deserves to get paid. Here. If rather give up a 1st. Lin ASSik 1st for Rondo + Green
ESPN pisses me off sometimes. Like they texted me at 3am to let me know that shaun white didn't place in the olympics.
You really think Rondo is worth more than Parsons, Lin/Asik and 2 first round picks? I don't know about that. But whatevs.
Lin, Parsons, Beverly, Smith, and two first rounders for Rondo Asik, Dmo, and Brewer for Deng Works on the trade machine and actually makes sense
My inside sources are telling me the same thing. Either we make a deal by 2pm tomorrow or we wont make a deal at all.
It makes me cringe sometimes when I see fans overvalue their favorite players. Be completely honest, if the Rockets had Rondo on the trade block and Boston offered Omer and Jeremy (due over 30 million combined next season) plus a late 1st round pick, would y'all take it? You have to give something to get something. Chandler is a great role player, but Rondo is a star.
Do you think Rondo and say J Green or Deng is equal or worth more (with future flexibility)? It would not just be a Rondo for all of that deal...
The only things I am worried about in regard to Rondo is: 1. Terrible free throw shooter 2. Terrible three point shooter 3. Coming off major knee injury Other than those things, I have no problems.
@sam_amick: Makes sense for Houston to pursue Boston's Rondo (and @ESPNSteinLine says Rox have interest) but I'm told the two teams have not spoken.
