Jesus now CyberX backing up king drews remark a while ago about getting deng if we trade CP. I am actually so nervous right now, can't eat or sleep, gone now 36 hours no sleep. also just to let everyone know, we play the lakers today
Found the original. So cyberx is replying to the CP is off the table tweet. I'm wondering if this is CP is going back in the wallet or he's going to be added back to the pot if he has to be.
Nobody really knows where he gets his information. The implication has always been it is NOT inside the Rockets but in a related company of some sort. In that regard, jtr has been right in that Morey and the Rockets do not like to leak anything, but other teams arent as strict about leaks, which is probably where cyberx gets his information. so, cyberx says Parsons is involved at first because that is who the Celtics want, not necessarily who the Rockets want to give up. At least that is my take on that. These kind of responses dont need to happen, not now, not when or if it even goes down. You guys would get pissed if/when he decided to rub it in if no trade happens, so don't throw it the other way if one does. Stein essentially backing up cyberx certainly provides ammunition, I just ask yall not to use it.
Ainge and morey know eachothers tactics, they worked together for years, are really good friends, do the Sloan conferences together. I think they realise each team is demanding high returns right now.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Celtics, I'm told, would insist on Chandler Parsons in a theoretical Rondo deal. And Rockets, by all accounts, NOT willing to surrender CP</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/statuses/436236085484470272">February 19, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Admit it though, seeing stein tweet this 24 hours later than CyberX and king Drew has put a smile on your face.
Actually, Melo is pretty bad on D. Melo is not a bad defender per say, but the way he plays is stupid. I'm gonna score all the points and save my energy for offense. Tyson, you got my back right? Grab rebounds and defend the paint is your job. Basketball is not a role playing game. It's a team sport and everyone should try to contribute what they can (especially on defense). He never gets back in transition either. You don't see those points given up on his stat sheet. Parsons is a 2 way player because he is still above average on defense. He's not good or great, just above average with potential to improve. Also, rookie Parsons wasn't asked to score (he averaged 9.5 ppg vs. 17.1 ppg today) so we know he is capable of being a very good defender. Melo is below average. He is the superior offensive player, but keep in mind Parsons shoots 50.2% from the field and Melo shoots 44.6%.
if that was today, it's a fake tweet he hasn't tweeted in 6 days (judging by what i'm looking at right now)
That's a very interesting lineup three guys who have been all NBA defense team. Deng and Jones can score without being ball dominant. The bench is weak but you can maybe add Camby and maybe a minor trade for Anthony Morrow. Giving up Parsons sucks but we only have 3-4 year window. Morey can tweak around the edges for depth but that starting lineup is the best in the league.
